EXPERIENCE Theater Department Chair (Aug. 2018 - Present) Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts
My primary duties are providing comprehensive arts and program administration for the school’s theatre department. I supervise two faculty members, and also teach Acting, Directing and Playwriting, direct two productions a year, coach competition pieces, supervise student projects.
Technician II (Jan. 2018 - July 2018) State of Utah, Bureau of Criminal Identification, (BCI), Expungement Section
Responsibilities included: Determining applicant eligibility for expungement by researching background, including research in Utah Criminal History Database, IIIC and IIIA, UCJIS, knowing statues governing expungement eligibility, and staying abreast of changes in regulations, processing applications, answering phone and email inquiry's and assisting applicants who visited BCI offices.
Achievements included positive supervisor evaluations, promotion to non-probationary employment, successfully passing a Level II background check, and if I choose to, an invitation to return to service.
Responsibilities included; developing thorough product knowledge, responding to all internet sales leads, active listening to determine wants and needs, demonstrating vehicles, collecting needed information and writing up sales contracts, negotiating terms and closing sales, working with management to ensure customer needs are met, and outstanding ongoing customer service.
Achievements include reaching “Elite Sales Associate” status in my first three months, consistent top evaluation scores on customer evaluation surveys, and consistently meeting sales goals.
Professor (Aug. 2000 - Feb. 2015) Dixie State University, (DSU), St. George, Utah
From August of 2000 to May of 2011 I served as the DSU Theatre program director, my responsibilities included program administration, artistic and financial management, recruitment, advertising and promotions. Primary instructional duties were divided between teaching acting and voice classes, and directing productions. I also assisted with recruiting, and served on several campus committees.

The primary responsibility was as serving as administrator for a regional summer theatre program co-sponsored by USU-UBBC and the Uintah County Arts Council. I was responsible for artistic, financial and personnel management, advertising, promotions and grant writing. I also taught several theatre courses for USU during the academic year.
